Canada Day and Still Raining

Well here we are into the first week of July and still experienceing rain and heavy fog daily. At this point it seems to have been raining forever!

We did get a bit of a reprive from the rain in the evening of July 1st, Canada Day. I took camera and tripod in hand and headed out to the fireworks display in Bedford for the closing of Bedford Days and Canada Day. With the weather still being very humid and a bit foggy, the smoke produced from the fireworks hung low in the sky, and ended up obstructing the view of the beautiful colors. Oh well, at least it didn't rain for a little while.

Fingers crossed that this weather system will move out soon!

Rain Rain go away!

I would like to get out to shoot someday!

This weather is starting to get depressing. Seems like it has been raining forever at this point.

I am really looking forward to the sun's return to get out shooting some new material.

On another note, the Math On Olympiad event shoot went great yesterday. Tiring shooting for 4 hours, but great none the less. Now the fun of processing begins!

Hopefully I'll be able to post some new material soon, if this rain ever goes away!

Day 1 Launch

Here we go Live!

New to this blogging stuff, let's see how this goes!

My day job limits the time I have for shooting, but I take advantage of the free time I get to shoot as much as possible. I have been focussing on commercial stock images in the past, and have recently moved into shooting more with models and people.

I am looking to build my portfolio on a mostly TCD basis. I am interested in meeting up with some people that would be willing to have their photos used as stock images as well.

If you have any ideas for a session, feel free to send them through. I am open to pretty much anything, and flexible on suggestions for themes, locations, etc.
